Gauri Jaswal
Principal
Is a Principal at Overlap Holdings, where she focuses primarily on the firm’s Investing and Capital Solutions businesses. She has extensive experience in frontier tech venture capital, having been the first hire at Conscience VC, where she helped build out operations, sourcing, and the firm’s investment process. Prior to that, she worked at dlab, an SOSV accelerator, and Outlier Ventures, a VC firm dedicated to investing in the emerging web3 ecosystem. She holds a degree in Economics from Yale University.
Outside of work, Gauri is a digital nomad and enjoys traveling the world and exploring new places.
John Ahrens

Rob Morelli
Chief Operating Officer
Managing Director of Capital Solutions
Is the Chief Operating Officer of Overlap Holdings and Managing Director of its Capital Solutions business. He began his career at UBS Investment Bank, where he rose to become Head of Syndicate and Structuring for the firm’s Mortgage and Asset-Backed Structured Products business. After UBS, Rob co-founded HomeKeepr, a marketplace for home service pros powered by millions of referrals from local real estate professionals. HomeKeepr was acquired in 2021. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. He is the proud father of two amazing children, which means that 100% of his spare time is spent driving to and from practices and rehearsals—and he wouldn’t change a thing.

Elizabeth Stockton
Director of Government Solutions

Irene Edwards
Chief Communications Officer
Head of Invesor Relations
Is the Chief Communications Officer / Head of Investor Relations at Overlap Holdings. She spent 20 years in legacy media as a magazine editor at Condé Nast, Time Inc., and American Express Publishing, and helped launch various media startups in San Francisco, before pivoting to lead comms initiatives at international orgs with a world-positive mission. Most recently, Irene served as Head of Communications at MAD, a global nonprofit at the intersection of food systems and hospitality founded by Chef René Redzepi of Restaurant Noma. She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
